kerstin & louise
Louise & Kerstin first met about 11 years ago at a breakfast date. The attraction was immediate and so began their adventures together.
Together they’ve ran countless marathons around the world, rode their bikes “Audrey and Mrs Robinson” from Seattle to Boston in what they called The Bike is Good Project, 112 days and 8400km, and recently, after two years of planning they built their dream home in Watervale.
Married at Katherine and Michael Nugent’s property in Gillentown, Louise and Kerstin celebrated their special day among family and friends.
Their day started with a morning Yoga Session, followed by a wine tasting at Wines by KT. After this, everyone gathered at Katherine & Michael Nugent’s property just outside of Clare for an intimate ceremony where the couple rode their bikes down the aisle, exchanging promises from the heart surrounded by their nearest & dearest. Then it was time for the reception, with the wood fire pizzas supplied by El Diablo Pizzas, and local vendor, Little Tinnie in charge of keeping everyone hydrated.
The couple have just returned from cycling in the outback, 700km from Coober Pedy to Rawnsley Park on their bikes “Faith and Hope”. Their motto is Lagom; not to little, not too much, but just right. They were given a housewarming present of a tea towel that says “May your home be too small to hold all your friends”.
