Kate & TIm
A cool spring day was the backdrop for this intimate Auburn Wedding. It was freezing, maybe 10 degrees or less after hailing that morning. The 30 odd guests all huddled closely together around the gorgeous couple and intimately watched them exchange their vows with celebrant Victoria Blechynden of Perfect Pear Ceremonies, leading the way. The couple had 2 locations for their day, Velvet and Willow for the ceremony and Terroir Restaurant for their reception
Kate donned a gorgeous Made with Love Bridal gown teamed with some vintage curls, provided by Allana form Cutting Edge in Clare and Tim’s suit came from MJ Bale. Kate loves peppercorn trees as it reminds her dearly of spending time at her grandparents house in the Clare Valley, so Nadinne Grace Photography snapped up that opportunity and, well, see for yourself.. the result is simply stunning! Dianne Tilley from A Joyful Bunch absolutely outdone herself with the Bouquet. Including peppercorn, it was filled with popping colour which sat with the theme of their day perfectly.
Kate and Tim were going to have a larger wedding but then decided to go with a small and intimate style, which also meant relaxed, simple, yet absolutely elegant. After guests had warmed up by the fire and had a drink or three in the gardens at Velvet and Willow they headed to the reception venue, Terroir Restaurant. Chosen by Kate and Tim for the incredible food Dan and Annika create as well as the intimacy of the venue.
Kate and Tim’s advice for couple’s planning their wedding day is keep it simple and laugh off the things you can’t control such as the weather. Great advice, I’d say.
