andrew & di
At 62 years young, Di was both excited and nervous to be getting married for the first time, and a drizzly Clare Valley Saturday was the time and the place.
Andrew and Dianne wanted something relaxed and casual for their close friends and family. They opted for the Clare Country Club, with guests being able to stay at the venue also. It was Dianne’s bridesmaid who was doing final touches to makeup and hair that made Dianne’s entry to the Ceremony a little past the scheduled time. Bec Wilson, marriage Celebrant, kept reassuring Andrew that she will be coming and he will marry her.
The ceremony was comforting and intimate. Bec calmed both Andrew and Dianne’s nerves with her sense of humour and officiated the ceremony in her professional and caring manner. Once the kiss was planted, guests made their way with umbrella’s up, to Conner’s Restaurant. Canapés and drinks were served before entering the dining room where an amazing three course lunch was served to guests.
Photographer Nadinne Grace was keeping an eye on the weather outside, checking for breaks in the rain to get some photos of the bridal party and family. After an attempt that sent them back inside they finally got the shots they wanted. The sun finally came out, and Andrew and Dianne had a day surrounded by family, friends and a whole bunch of love.
